  • Summary

  • In this podcast, Elders Randall & DeBorrah K. Ogans share biblically based insight, guidance, and advice on Life & Living, Marriage & Relationships, Family & Parenting, Faith & Belief, Church & Religion, Spiritual Health, and more.

Weekly episodes encourage listeners to live life out loud, walking/living in the light, doing what the Lord requires of us in every area of life. What does the Lord require of us? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.

Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".

To walk in the light is to have a daily commitment to living out a righteous life. Blessed(happy) are those who walk in the light of His presence. His word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For it is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being.

This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.

Always keep in mind, the transforming power of the Lord, is truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you.

If you haven't already, make a commitment today, to start Walking In the Light.

  • One Way To Heaven - Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life - Part 2
    Jan 8 2025

If you want to go to Heaven, it is necessary that you follow God's way, which is described as narrow and requires discernment. We stress the importance of not blindly following others, and encourage independent study of scripture.

The "Narrow Way" refers to God's principles and the path he has laid out for us. This path may be unpopular or perceived as judgmental because many people will prefer a broad road that suits their desires. Following the narrow way means rejecting the carnal way, recognizing that God's will isn't always easily followed or known, and embracing discipleship and discernment, being led by the Spirit.

Studying the Bible is vital for personal understanding of God's will and truth. Relying on interpretations or reports of others can be misleading. The Bible is considered the "life manual" for the "Narrow Way" and should be read and studied regularly to gain understanding, wisdom, and guidance. Knowing the Word of God for oneself is also a guard against false teachings and manipulation.

Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven, referred to as the "Door" and the "SUPREME PASSWORD" of God. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him. He came in the flesh, lived a sinless life, overcame sin, death, shame and the grave, and died on the cross for the sins of the world. Believing and embracing Jesus as Lord and Savior is essential, if you want to go to Heaven.

The world tries to draw people towards the "broad road," offering carnal pleasures and desires. satan, described as the "father of lies," seeks to deceive and ensnare through various "entrapments," "deceptive devices," and distractions. To combat these influences, you must stay rooted in God's Word, practice discernment, walk in the Spirit, pray continually, and rely on God's protection, which is readily available for his children.

The Holy Spirit is the guide and comforter, essential for discerning God's will and living a life that honors Him. The Holy Spirit provides strength, wisdom, and leads individuals toward the "Narrow Way."

Listen to this episode as we encourage you to trust in God. Those who trust in Him can be assured of their place in Heaven.
