I have never met anyone who volunteers at more running events and races that Kristian Mines. She volunteers at dozens of races across the county each year. You cannot miss her infectious energy and enthusiasm as she cheers on other runners and racers. This year's Javelina Jundred 100 mile race was one of the hottest on record, with the temperature reaching the triple digits. It is a race I have wanted to try for a while. I love the format at the vibes of the race. So it was great to catch up with Rachel and hear her story about running through the heat.
