Happy Sunday, church family! We are currently walking through our series, Big Ideas from Little Books, talking about relevant topics from smaller books in the Bible. The truths we will learn about from these books will help us to know Christ deeper and allow us to better understand Scripture. We hope you enjoyed this week's sermon and that it challenged you in your faith.

We are beginning a two-week sermon series labeled, Reach: Where There is No Church, discussing the necessity to bring the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to all who believe. Maybe you’ve asked the question, “How do we live out the Gospel to reach the world?” It can seem daunting to look out to a world in darkness and try to reach all who are lost, thank God that we are not alone in our journey; we have a family who are all a part of this commission. As believers, we should aim to live with a faith and longing to go, recognize the power for all who believe, and live unashamed of the Gospel. As Christians, it is our responsibility to share the Gospel. God's word makes it abundantly clear that our mission is to spread the Gospel. For some, sharing the Gospel is simple, for others it is nerve-wracking. At Woodside, we believe in making disciples, by reaching the world and our local communities with the saving grace of Christ. People everywhere desperately need Jesus. Spreading the Gospel should not be difficult or anxiety-driven, but rather an authentic conversation on faith and the need for Jesus. The book of Romans points out our need for Christ, why it is essential to share the Gospel, and where our salvation comes from. We see four truths from various chapters in Romans on a basic framework for sharing the Gospel.
