日本近現代の名作小説や詩を、朗読用に書き下ろされたオリジナルあらすじ台本で味わうシリーズ。

Rabindranath Tagore, author of The Gardener, was an Indian poet and the first poet of any nationality ever to win the Nobel Laureate for Literature, awarded to him in 1913. He captivated India and the entire western world with the beauty of the lyrics in his poetry. His talent and undeniably beautiful lyrical poetic style are especially evident in this poem, written in prose in 85 verses and entitled The Gardener. Also known as The Book of Love, the poem uniquely expresses the ideas of love and the unity of humanity with universe.

There have been many translators of Chinese literature and poetry over time, but Arthur Waley stands out as one of the best known and most loved. This is perhaps because he had an attribute that most others lacked, which is his poetic abilities. Waley was as much a poet himself as a translator, and while his scholarly erudition was matched by a few others at his time, none ever managed to bring out the true character of Chinese poetry quite so well.

明治から昭和初期にかけて活躍した物理学者、随筆家、俳人である寺田寅彦の随筆作品。

初出は「東京帝国大学新聞」［1929（昭和4）年4月］。「日本の名随筆89　数」［作品社、1990（平成2）年］に収録。

それぞれに苦手意識をもつ学生諸君に、数学にも語学にも案外共通項があるということに気づかせ、好きなものに対する方法を利用して嫌いなものを征服する道程を暗示したいと考え、書き綴った作品。

This book, written by Prakash Pandit, describes the events in the life of Firaq Gorakhpuri, who was an Urdu poet, writer and critic. He was one of the most noted contemporary Urdu poets from India, and he has written a number of ghazals, nazmas, rubais and stories. Many of his works are still revered for their contemporary relevance, and he was awarded Padma Bhushan in the later part of his life. The number of ghazals written by him is said to be in the hundreds, and a few selected ones are given in a separate section of the book.

Mirza Ghalib was an Urdu poet who is known for his unique and smooth style of writing. This book is a compilation of the events which happened throughout his life, along with few of the poems written by him. The poems in this book are an ideal listen for people who are fascinated by Urdu poetry but do not understand the nastaliq, the script in which Urdu is written.

Roy mentions that the current, popular interest was resulting in Tagore's work being translated across Europe. He also points out the irony of backlash the poet had experienced, from the traditional Indian literary establishment, who worried his poetry would corrupt the country's youth. Suzuko Niré a grandi dans une famille recomposée mais unie. 『注文の多い料理店』は、1924年（大正13年）９作品を収めた短編集『注文の多い料理店』の表題作。二人の青年紳士が猟に出て路に迷い、入ったレストランで経営者から逆にとんでもない注文されてしまう話で、都会文明に対する賢治の痛烈な批評精神をあらわした作品。 宮沢 賢治（みやざわ けんじ、岩手県生まれ、1896年 - 1933年）。童話作家、詩人。郷土をこよなく愛し、作品中にも岩手をモチーフにした架空の理想郷が登場する。『銀河鉄道の夜』や『風の又三郎』といった童話作品が知られている。
