Four more series of the long-running satirical panel show chaired by Miles Jupp. Since its inception in 1977, The News Quiz has been taking an irreverent sideways look at the headlines, playfully poking fun at the issues, incidents and individuals that make the news. John Le Mesurier, Ian Lavender, and Bill Pertwee star in four episodes of the radio sequel to Dad's Army, including: "Inspecting the Piles": In order to save money, Hodges, Pike, and Wilson decide to inspect the foundations of Frambourne Pier in an inflatable rubber dinghy - at night. "Pike in Love": Uncle Arthur is called in to give Pike a lesson on the birds and the bees. Also included are episodes "The Friends of Frambourne Pier" and "The First Meeting".
