Freja's friend Tjalfe is abducted by a sorceress and taken to rural Lapland. Freja courageously sets out to rescue him. The Magic Shard is a unique adaptation of the original Danish version of Hans Christian Andersen's Snedronningen from 1844.

This story is an adaptation of the original German fairy tale König Drosselbart by the Grimm brothers. It is set among the Vikings, where Viking-girl Gro just does not fit into the customs of her society. When her father conspires with one of his "drengrs" to break her spirit, Gro uses her wit and courage to find her own path in life.

Un conte intemporel sur l’injustice et la rédemption, né de l’association d’un conte traditionnel allemand, d’une ancienne légende autochtone et d’éléments historiques fâcheux pas si anciens que ça. Un pot-pourri de contes séculaires dans un contexte contemporain, raconté avec une dose de suspense, une pincée de magie, un peu d’humour, un ou deux mots compliqués pour faire bonne mesure et quelques controverses, le tout bien mélangé.
