Story
The Researcher's Bible provides a short introduction to the major concepts and approaches used in the social sciences, especially in sociology, anthropology, leisure, recreation, and tourism. It is an ideal supplement to a more detailed text on research methods and a guide to choose which research methods to use in a study. It also provides an explanation of different options for company owners and managers of organizations, who might want to do research or hire a research company to conduct a study for them.

Story
The Truth About Lying is a book about how and why people lie, how we respond when others lie to us, how to tell when someone is lying, and what to do about it. As the book illustrates, we lie for all kinds of reasons - to protect ourselves, gain an advantage, avoid punishment, protect other's feelings, escape blame, or get out of something we don't want to do. Though philosophers, religious leaders, teachers, and parents tell us lying is morally wrong - at some time, everyone does it. And in the last decade, we have seen more and more examples of lying in the news.

The audiobook has been developed by speaking to people from various backgrounds and discovering the wide range of ethical approaches people use in making everyday choices, and deciding how to handle the ethical conflicts they encounter in their lives.

Story
How to Find Publishers and Agents and Get Published is about how to successfully write, pitch a book, write a query letter, promote a book, and build a platform. Many of these chapters started off as answers to questions from clients or prospective clients of Publishers Agents and Films (www.publishersagentsandfilms.com), a service that connects writers to publishers and agents. Then, I began thinking about all the steps involved, from writing a book to getting published.

Story
Today, when Russia has regained its power on the world stage and Putin is restoring many of the old traditions and systems, it is helpful to understand what Russia was like at the time of transformation set in motion by Gorbachev and continued by Yeltsin. For a time Russia went through a period called "glasnost" and "perestroika" when all things seemed possible and a spirit of democracy was in the air.

The Vision Board Book

Story
The Vision Board Book provides a way to create your vision board in a book, in which you envision what you want and decide what action steps to take to get it. But instead of creating your vision on a large board, usually about 24"x36," you create it in an 8.5"x11" book. Perhaps think of this book like a visual journal or diary in which you record your hopes and dreams and later look back from time to time. But now you have a separate book which you can focus on each day and use to keep track of how you are doing, as well as motivate you to go after and make real what you want.

Story
The three tales in this audiobook are adapted from stories told by the peasants in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. They are drawn from some books I found in shops when I visited the former USSR in 1988 as part of a citizen diplomacy group. I was intrigued by these folktales, since my paternal grandmother lived for some time in Odessa in the Ukraine. Also, I found these stories share a common theme - the poor peasant is able to succeed despite obstacles against an unfair ruler.
