"Boule de Suif" de Guy de Maupassant : Parue en 1880, la nouvelle "Boule de Suif" a été depuis adaptée de nombreuses fois au théâtre, au cinéma, à la télévision. La mise en scène sonore de l'œuvre met en lumière toute l'ambiance si particulière du contexte historique de la guerre de 1870. L'interprétation du narrateur et des dialogues met en valeur l'extraordinaire analyse de l'auteur face à une société étriquée, hypocrite. Le personnage principal, Boule de Suif, prostituée au grand cœur, en est que plus bouleversant.

"Mother Sauvage" by Guy de Maupassant is a short horror story of the Franco-Prussian War. When she hears of her son’s death, Mother Sauvage exacts revenge on the young soldiers. À peine arrivé, le samedi, je montais dans Dalila, avec mon épouse. - Dalila c'est ma norvégienne, un bateau que j'ai fait construire chez Fournaise, quéque chose de léger et de sûr."
