Secret Doctrine Volumes I and II are the magnum opus of H.P. Blavatsky, founder of theosophy and enigmatic teacher of the Secret Wisdom. Volume III is her collected writings and thoughts after her death. Some of the writings are contributed to Annie Besant and others, so the book remains as controversial as it is thought-provoking.

In a small cell, Sully finds himself alone, but for a disturbed man and the ghost of a teenager he has always known only as the Purple Girl. As his time runs out, he begins to piece together a past he’d rather have left in the shadows.

The dark and twisted story of Wilbur Whateley and the strange events surrounding his birth and precocious development. Wilbur matures at an abnormal rate, reaching manhood within a decade—all the while becoming indoctrinated into dark rituals and witchcraft by his grandfather.

Before throwing himself from the window of his attic, the untitled protagonist writes some notes related to his mental state. Then, he begins to recall an old story that happened in the years of the First World War: suddenly, he finds himself a prisoner of a German ship in the Pacific Ocean. After only five days, the protagonist manages to escape with a raft. Wandering for days, adrift in the sea, one afternoon he finds himself stranded on a disquieting and apparently deserted island and, from there, things only get stranger.

We are all driven by needs, desires, ambitions and many other forces. Life runs as normal with the obligatory ups and downs. In this volume such literary leviathans as Nathaniel Hawthorne, Nikolai Gogol, Edgar Allan Poe, Charlotte Perkins Gilman and many others provide tales from pens that seep with wisdom and worry.

H. P. Lovecraft’s name is synonymous with horror fiction. His major inspiration and invention was cosmic horror: the idea that life is incomprehensible to human minds and that the universe is fundamentally alien. Randolph Carter, the alter ego of Lovecraft, is now an adult and has lost the ability to vividly dream. Despite considering the waking world as dull and mundane, he desires to reconcile with it.

For years, the legend of Faceless Flo - a young woman who disappeared in the 1920s - has drawn people to Hollow Road in search of her ghost. Some were never seen again. Among the missing is a young banker who vanished 30 years ago. Dez is called in to help solve the decades-old cold case, and when a connection to the Faceless Flo legend comes to light, he enlists Sully’s help. But not everything is as it seems. As Sully begins to unravel the truth, he finds himself on a collision course with an angry and dangerous spirit, and an enemy from his past who is guarding a dark secret.

The narrator travels through the nearby decrepit seaport of Innsmouth which is suggested as a cheaper and potentially interesting next leg of his journey. There he interacts with strange people and observes disturbing events that ultimately lead to horrifying and personal revelations. It forms part of the Cthulhu Mythos, using its motif of a malign undersea civilization. It references several shared elements of the Mythos, including place-names, mythical creatures and invocations.

More than two years after Sully took desperate measures to escape his enemies, he finds himself headed for an inevitable showdown with the most dangerous of them. Years of murder and deceit are catching up to Lowell, and the ghosts of those he killed are not about to rest until they’ve watched him fall. But as Sully and Dez close in, Lowell makes one last desperate strike—one that threatens everything the brothers and their loved ones hold dear.

A psychologically twisted story of the escape of a lifelong prisoner.

I had it all. A powerful coven. A charming Victorian mansion. A sexy car. A couture closet. Credit cards up the wazoo, and an endearing familiar. Actually, scratch that, Hellcat would never be described as "endearing". More like: the bane of my existence. So, I almost had it all. Then a vampire came along and ruined it when he turned me into a Blood Witch. Now, I’ve been kicked out of my coven, kicked out of the mansion, I have no credit to speak of, the Lexus is a thing of the past, and not only am I driving something from the '80s, but it’s also unapologetically yellow.

An unnamed narrator pieces together the story of an area known by the locals as the "blasted heath" in the wild hills west of the fictional town of Arkham, Massachusetts. The narrator discovers that many years ago a meteorite crashed there, poisoning every living being nearby; vegetation grows large but foul tasting, animals are driven mad and deformed into grotesque shapes, and the people go insane or die one by one.

It is difficult to call The Unnamed a story. It is more like a fictionalized literary essay, a precursor to a future series of essays titled In Defence of Dagon, in which Lovecraft will present a theory of the supernatural story and attempt to prove that horror literature should not be dismissed as exclusively immature, targeted at the masses.
