Außerdem findet in Pontypandy das große Kajakrennen statt, wobei Ben die gute Hannah ein wenig unterschätzt. Es bleibt aufregend in Pontypandy.

Obendrein bricht auch noch ein Feuer in einer Kabine aus. Gareth sieht verzweifelt dem führerlosen, brennenden Zug hinterher auf dem sich immer noch Kinder befinden. Der Zug wird immer schneller und schneller.

Als Sam einen außer Kontrolle geratenen Öl-Tankwagen zum Stehen bringt, rettet er wieder einmal das Küstenstädtchen Pontypandy aus einer brenzligen Lage. Mandy & Sarah filmen diese mutige Rettungsaktion für ihre neue Website, woraufhin das Video ein riesen Hit im Internet wird. Auch der große Hollywood Regisseur, Don Sledgehammer, wird darauf aufmerksam und ist von Sam begeistert. Genau solch einen Helden braucht er für seinen nächsten Film.
