Never before did the world of Waldyra face a threat as terrible as this one. A whole continent has gone insane—and it's heading towards the Old Continent on a collision course. If the two continents collide, the whole world will shake to its very foundation, and the ensuing destruction will be unimaginable.

At the foot of the foreboding Gray Peak lies a desolate valley. These are the backwoods of the world of Waldyra—they offer nothing valuable to players, who rarely visit as a result. Yet this is the very place where the calm and good-natured dwarf named Crow is headed. Straight after leaving the Creche, he hopes to make a living there. This hero does not crave epic battles with monsters. Quite the contrary. He wants to be a merchant and develop his blacksmithing skills, while staying far away from fighting, long voyages, and clan squabbles.

Eine scheinbar kinderleichte Quest in der virtuellen Welt von Waldyra ist eine hervorragende Möglichkeit, etwas Geld zu verdienen, oder? Nur leider laufen die Dinge nie ganz so, wie man es gern hätte. Rostislaw Grokhotov ist nicht gerade scharf drauf, zum Spielball zu werden. Nach seinem unerwarteten Fund macht er sich daher Gedanken über seine eigenen Ziele.

The journey to the City of the Dead continues. The maritime part of the voyage has been completed successfully. New roads, shrouded in darkness and mystery, are calling our heroes now. And it takes a very special person to survive them.

The world of Waldyra has been thrown into a turmoil of unprecedented scale and gravity. There are countless threats coming from every direction. The gods are at war. Continents are about to clash. Mighty ancient deities awaken-far more powerful than any of the newfangled gods. Old and new clans fight one another furiously for a place in the sun, and hideous monsters are falling from the skies, destroying every living thing in their way.

How tough do you need to be to withstand life's storms? What would you do, if everything that you've worked so long and hard to achieve comes crumbling down within an hour? Presumably, when this happens in life, it takes great effort to overcome despair—even if this life is virtual. For the dwarf named Crow, virtual life is no less important than reality. This is because the game holds great meaning, currently known only to the hero of the story, while the listener can only make guesses.

The vicious battle with the gray orcs is over. The outpost of Gray Peak has not surrendered to the enemy. Battered by swords and magic, the orcs have retreated back to their home mountains. The black storm clouds have scattered. But the break promises to be short-the orcs will soon return.

The upward journey is always tough. The higher you climb, the stronger, smarter, and more savage the enemy. And nobody is insured against loss. Elb's tight-knit combat unit has lost a number of fighters. Loyal comrades-in-arms decided to leave the squad, just as it was entering a zone full of deadly dangerous beasties; a time when a fighting disposition and unfailing support were needed like never before. Will these losses affect Elb's desire to soldier on? No, they will not. Nothing but death will break the fighter goblin Elb's resolve to keep moving.

Wenn das Leben einen solchen Schicksalsschlag bereithält, ist die Verzweiflung vermutlich groß — selbst wenn es sich nur um ein virtuelles Leben handelt. Für den Zwerg namens Krähe ist das virtuelle Leben genauso wichtig wie die Realität. In diesem Spiel steckt eine tiefere Bedeutung, die vorläufig nur dem Helden bekannt ist; alle anderen können nur raten.

Some dream of prosperity, of living a calm and peaceful life. But not me. Having reached the pinnacles of success, I can't stop thinking about the past, about a time when any misstep could spell disaster, when I had to pay, work, and risk everything for even the slightest gain and each day was like walking a knife's edge. That's all in the past now. This peaceful, predictable, and privileged life isn't so bad. But it's boring!

Wichtiger Hinweis: Die Ereignisse im Krähen-Zyklus finden in der Welt von Waldyra zeitgleich mit den Ereignissen in Herrschaft der Clans - Die Rastlosen statt, bilden jedoch eine eigenständige Handlung. Jeder Zyklus ist mit der Hauptgeschichte verknüpft und präsentiert verschiedene Charaktere aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven, liefert Informationen über ihre Vergangenheit oder erläutert den Hintergrund zu Ereignissen, die aus der vorherigen Reihe bereits bekannt sind.

A multitude of secret paths and trails exist in the world of Waldyra. Some of them lead to places that can only be described as "non-canonical." Those are always extremely well-concealed and almost impossible to find. Should anyone succeed in setting their foot on such a path, they'd be warned about doing it at their own peril.

Die legendäre Kultsaga aus der Feder eines der Urgesteine des LitRPG-Genres! Rostislaw Grokhotov, ein unbedeutender Angestellter eines Privatunternehmens, wollte sich im Spiel eigentlich nur etwas dazuverdienen. Konkrete Pläne für seinen neuen Charakter hatte er nicht. Er konnte ja nicht ahnen, dass dieser Charakter, Rosgard, die nächste große Legende des Spiels werden würde.

This time, their destination is Angora-the Great City of the Dead, once ruled by the death god Anrull before his fall from his lofty throne. And Anrull would never accept being thwarted that way.

The hardworking dwarf has overcome many hardships. He has clashed with formidable opponents, but managed to protect himself and his domain. However, there is no break in sight. The future is an uphill battle, filled with long hours of blacksmithing and digging, and lots of adventures and surprise encounters. Nobody knows what will happen next. For now, the outpost of Gray Peak continues to hold the fort, with no intention of surrendering to the enemy . . .
