Many claim to have been drawn to Christian faith by charismatic prophecy or by the prophetic-eschatological themes in such popular works as the Last Days of the Late, Great Planet Earth. This recording examines in what sense and to what degree Scriptural prophecies have legitimate apologetic value, and how they can be used properly in the contemporary defense of the faith.

In 1970, Dr. Montgomery was the visiting Reveille Scholar at the University of California—San Diego. This tape set is comprised of the series of lectures in which he developed a Christian approach to the study of the philosophy of history.

God has a far deeper and more personal meaning beyond the increasing complications of world religions and the rapid "progress" that mankind claims to be experiencing.
