There was a time when hypnosis was a recognized door towards meditation. In the Middle Ages hypnosis was condemned alongside witchcraft. That condemnation still lingers on. Osho speaks here about hypnosis as a very helpful tool to enter into meditation.

Every morning when you wake up, you become aware and your dreams disappear. You can do the same thing with the endless dreaming of your mind - the dreams that nourish your ego. This capacity to be aware, to witness, is already yours. It is nourished by celebration. Celebration helps you become more sensitive and more alert to life. Don't invest in misery, invest in celebration.

Most people know of hypnosis from entertainment; often in a negative context of being "hypnotized" to do things they would not do on their own. Lately hypnosis is being used in therapy with a much more positive connotation. Osho puts hypnosis in a different context, describing it as an art, and explains, in this talk mixed with his well-known humor, how hypnosis can benefit all of us. The child needs your love, not your help. The child needs nourishment, support, but not your help. Every way to help a child is wrong. The very idea of helping is not right. The natural potential of the child is unknown, so there is no way to help him rightly to attain to his natural potential. You cannot help when the goal is unknown; all that you can do is not interfere. And in fact, in the name of help everybody is interfering with everybody else; and because the name is beautiful, nobody objects.

Man has come of age, and does not need old, superstitious religions which are not relevant to contemporary people anymore. Yet, religious establishments try everything to revive and keep these religions alive on artificial life support—we see fundamentalist movements reborn all over the world. People do realize that religion is an empty box. Today's times need a more scientific approach for exploring our inner beings. That will be possible only if we get rid of our old habits.

Many decades ago, Osho addressed the unfolding environmental catastrophe. Today the bad stewardship of planet Earth by humanity is obvious. Osho analyses this catastrophe with an additional level of understanding, pointing to organized religions as major contributors to our predatory and careless handling of the environment. To follow any kind of leader is an intrinsically fascist concept—introduced to us by religions and conditioning. People want to be free, yet they are looking for a leader to provide that freedom, keeping themselves bound in a subtle slavery. Osho encourages us to have the guts to create our own path. To walk it and create it at the same time. This talk is a deep analysis of the human mind, its conditioning and the understanding needed to be free from the obstacles preventing its freedom.

Responding to a question about why there are not many women comediennes or jokes which do not have a male chauvinistic ring to them, Osho dives into the context and history of women in societies and the sense of humor coming into existence at a late stage of evolution. No animal other than humans have a sense of humor. The sense of humor can be called the criterion whether evolution has become conscious or not.

While in the world of literature and film, mad scientists create monsters like "Frankenstein” and almost all religions are promoting skepticism towards science and the fear of manipulating human beings, reality has bypassed such concerns long ago. Osho has a unique view – supporting science, specifically genetic science – but as a conscious science.

Osho responds to a question addressing the fear of intelligence: "The first and the most important part of intelligence is innocence. That's why you felt terrible - because in the world innocence and intelligence have been divided, not only divided but put diametrically opposite to each other. If intelligence remains innocent it is the most beautiful thing possible, but if it is against innocence then it is simply cunningness and nothing else; it is not intelligence."

The qualities of a seeker of truth are the subject question of this talk by Osho. "Every child is born with an innate search for truth. It is not something learned or adopted later on in life. Truth simply means, 'I am, but I do not know who I am.' And the question is natural - 'I must know the reality of my being. It is not a curiosity.'"

Here Osho exposes the belief in God as a mere projection of the mind, a game we play with ourselves in order to avoid responsibility. We do according to god rather than being according to our self. So long as god is we are not. So long as god decides we don’t. Only by seeing the trap of our belief in god are we free from god and free to be ourselves.

Shubh ko aksar ek naitik karm samajha jata hai lekin Osho kahte hai ki shubh koi krutya nahi hai, acharan nahi, bhav hai. Jo karne se tumhe anand milta hai vah tumhare liye shubh hai. Isaliye apna chand khojo, apna anand khojo.Vahi shubh hai.

Prem ke pahaluo ko ujagar karnevala adbhut pravachan. Osho kahte hai ki prem me jab tak vyakti apna ahankar khota nahi hai tab tak prem nahi ho sakta. Prem hriday me ghatata hai aur hriday ke liye jhukna bahut asan hai. Prem mitne ki kala sikhata hai aur jine ki bhi.

Paramatma nikat me jana jata hai. Nikat ko pahachanne ka marg hai prem. Anuman nahi, tark nahi, jab prem me doobkar tumhara hriday geet gungunata hai tab tum paramatma ka anubhav karte ho. Paramatma anuman nahi, prem ki pratiti hai.

Prem ke vibhinna pahaluo ko samajhne ke liye yah anupam pravachan hai. Osho kahte hain ki prem badi adbhut ghatna hai.Yah sadharan nahi hai, alaukik hai. Is prithvi par svarg ki jo choti si kiran utarti hai uska nam prem hai.

Osho prem ki gahri paribhasha karte hai jo samanya paribhasha se bilakul alag hai. Prem ek gahri shvas hai, atma aur paramatma ke bich ka jod. Prem ki tarange jab bahti hai tab ham astitva se judte hai, usii me apne hone ka pata chalta hai. Isliye prem se gahri dusari koi anubhuti nahi.

Is pravachan me Osho kahte hai ki paramatma ki purani dharna ab kaam nahi aayegi. Usase upar uthkar dhyan me utarna chahiye tabhi jivan ka arth samajh mei ayega. Ishvar ko upasthiti ki bhanti samjhe, vyakti ki bhanti nahi.
