Story
Not only can we not currently explain the origin of the universe, it is questionable we will ever be able to explain it. The notion that there are universes within particles, or that particles are conscious, is ascientific, as is the hypothesis that our universe is a computer simulation. On the other hand, the idea that the universe itself is conscious is difficult to rule out entirely.

Story
One of the biggest questions Stephen Hawking tried to answer in his extraordinary life was how the universe could have created conditions so perfectly hospitable to life. But his famous theory on the Big Bang ran into a crisis when the equations predicted a multiverse - countless different universes, most of which were too bizarre to support life. Holed away in the physics department at Cambridge, Stephen Hawking and his collaborator Thomas Hertog worked for twenty years on a new theory of the cosmos.

Yet another world is possible. Award-winning author Jeremy Lent investigates humanity's age-old questions - who am I? why am I? how should I live? - from a fresh perspective.

Heidegger's Ghost
- Applications of Existential Philosophy as a Therapeutic Model
- By: Hannah Spicer

-
Story
Existential Psychology is characterized by a stark explanation of psychopathology and a nearly hands-off approach to therapy. Because the theoretical framework is based in a habit of mind rather than a particular treatment form, the existential approach can integrate fairly well with most forms of psychotherapy. It allows for sensitivity to culture and religious beliefs that other schools of thought do not address, but it can be harsh.

Story
Nietzsche is a major figure in Western philosophy. His work is radical, sometimes violent, often ironic; it fascinates anyone bold enough to delve into it, exerted a profound influence on modern intellectual history, and covers a wide range of subjects. Nietzsche's writings borders on the poetic; his aphorisms are particularly well-known for conveying all the radicalism of his thinking in an intense but light, sometimes amusing manner.

They spend their days maintaining lunar data centers with a quaint blue-green, and sometimes whitish, orb hanging in the sky. Between playing games and spirited debates on the meaning of the shimmering orb, the robots' existence is near idyllic. But when a malfunctioning system leads Ai-dan to stumble upon a mysterious box and then a soft-bodied android—total lunar oddities—the harmony of their world gets tossed into disarray.
