Twist
This book has a mystery of a story line that I didn’t seem coming. When I started listening I thought the MC would take a different route then she does so that twist of unexpected was nice. 🔥 is there for sure as well. Now I must wait for book 2 to find out some answers!

HOOKED!!! Everything about this story just grabbed my attention and would not let it go. It passed fast, but still so good. I cannot wait for more by this author and in this world.

Emotional
What an emotional story; you don’t expect the level of emotions that River is experiencing.
River is such an independent person, she’s damaged and doing what she thinks she needs to do to provide for her brother, she’s got secrets and another persona, and that persona is starting to make waves in her real life.
I definitely need to know what happens next.

I loved the narration of Lenox Louis
As a high class escort Rose aka River who has clients across New York’s most elite and wealthiest men, no kink too weird for our intrepid girl. Soon she finds out there is consequences to her lifestyle as River is about to find out.
Someone starts calling her with blood-curdling screaming in the background. After she receives a severed penis and balls. Rose has no idea who is taunting her.

Spicy and Suspenseful!
There is so much in this first installment of The Escort series! I am captivated and cannot wait for more! River leads a double life. Life coach by day, escort by night, she delivers all the needs to her clients. Rose, as they know her is willing to be whatever her escort wants. From female dom to submissive, her contracts are in place and she is ready to perform. Her one client is wealthy, Tyler, and the two fit together with her persona perfectly. Not only is he happy with her performance, but she too is satisfied. That is until he begins to add feelings to the mix. Not in the contract. She will not mix business and pleasure. Then there is Nate. He is a man that has captured her attention, and his random pop ups give off a bit of a sign for me. I need to get to know him better. Then there is Kai. The one she grew up with who does not know what her main source of income is. He is crude and thinks she should wait until he is ready for her. Not sure I like him yet, but I will hold judgment for now. This is a great start, but the cliffhanger has me yearning for more. Looking forward to book 2.
Lenox Louis is the narrator, and she is fabulous. Every voice, perfection. She finds the sound that fits each of the characters and makes them come alive. I could feel the emotions building and the hint of suspense as this book came to a close. Her performance is fabulous, and now I am will be watching for more by her.

this was every bit as good as the hype
I was hooked from the first page it held enough intrigue to keep me guessing, enough heat that they should make the most wanted list and a cliffhanger that leaves you wanted more. You won't regret picking this up you will be sad when you have to put it down!

No holds barred
Nothing is held back in this book. It’s gritty and real. There’s a lot of triggers so please take note of the warning. I loved it and can’t wait for the next book. A fantastic performance.

odd story
This book was very confusing to me. I wasn't a huge fan of the narrator but honestly that wasn't the issue. Clearly River blames herself for her parents death and thus decides she needs to be the one to take care of her younger brother but she seems to take it to extremes and there is zero explanation as to why. She buys him a house, pays for his college and does it all in apparent silence and he seems like he doesn't know she does it. I have no issues with what she does to make a living more the fact that there is no explanation as to why she is doing it all. Hopefully things will be explained in the second book but overall this just left me with so many more questions than answers and very unclear on her motives for everything she does.
