Alan Singleton is a man with a diverse professional background. He spent 25 years serving as a Marine Corps officer and founded Blu Door Consulting to help leaders take radical accountability in critical situations. He also created the Blu Door Scholars Foundation offering leadership training and support to youth from underrepresented backgrounds. Alan is also an active member of the financial service industry, serving as an independent financial advisor and as a council member for a prominent digital assets firm in the United States. Alan is an avid real-estate investor and owner of multi-family property in Baltimore, Maryland. Additionally, he has real estate development experience in Enugu State, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management and Organizational Development from Mount Olive University, a Master of Military Studies degree in Military Operational Art and Science from the Command & Staff College at Marine Corps University, and is currently completing his Doctor of Public Administration degree. His military career, which included participation in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, has earned him multiple honors and commendations. He has also been recognized for his volunteer work focused on youth health and fitness, receiving the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. Alan's previous experience includes his time as the Leadership Education Department Chair at Milford Mill Academy, a magnet high school in Baltimore, MD, where he successfully revitalized the JROTC program, earning a Transformation Leadership Award. Alan is passionate about his family, taking pride in his role as a husband and father.
