Alka Dixit was born and brought up in a simple family, living in the few of the remotest areas of India. She completed her elementary education in those small towns only and then started her medical career from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, India. She taught in various medical schools from the year 2000 till date and during her career as faculty, learned that she is really blessed to teach and transform those minds, who can transform the world in a much better place to live. Currently, she lives in Delhi NCR with her husband and two sons. Besides writing, music is her another passion. Writing is where her mind belongs to and music is where her heart is.
