I'm passionate about finding God in the ordinary and encouraging others to open and explore the Bible. In addition to my role as an author, speaker and podcaster, I'm also a wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. I view myself as a child of God who strives to discern His voice in my everyday life and live in a way that blesses those around me. You can read more about me on our website www.sinnerandthesaint.com. I've written several Bible Studies and Devotionals. Ever been discouraged? Felt like giving up? Spend thirty days in the book of Zechariah and discover how the prophet of Zechariah encouraged and motivated God's people to return to Him. Although these words were written years ago they are still relevant for us today. This Bible study (that can be done independently or as a group) is a glorious reminder that God is at work in our lives. every day. We may have grown numb to His touch, deaf to His whisper, blind to His ways or hardened to His love, but He is still there. Still working. Still loving. Still seeking your heart. In Wholeheartedly I explored reading through the Bible chronologically. It made me want to dance like David in pure abandon, without a care of who is watching and throwing every bit of energy, love and might I have into worshiping our Creator. Not only did it open my eyes to another incredible and easy way to study scripture, a deeper understanding of the thread God has woven through history since He created Earth and man, but it’s given me an appreciation and eye for Him in my daily life and world events. It’s not that I ever doubted God’s existence, power or attention to detail – it’s just that sometimes I put Him in my “human” box when He is so much more – so much greater. I sometimes simplify the greatness and forget to look at Him with the awe, gratitude, praise and adoration that I should. And in my six-week Bible study In The Mi[God]dle, we look at how God's place in our lives should always be front and center! He should be in the middle of all we do, all we think and all we plan. However, when our lives become a hub of activity and "to do" lists, God is pushed out of His rightful place. It takes effort, time, devotion and trust to put God back into His rightful place in our lives. How do we know God wants to be in the middle or center of our lives? How do get Him there and keep Him there? What do we gain from putting God in the middle? Join me as we find the keys to keeping God in the middle of all we think, do and say. This six-week Bible study will help you discover the keys to keeping God in the middle of all you think, do and say.
