Anisoara Laura Mustetiu is a Romanian-Australian writer living in Australia. She graduated in Economics (1995), IHK Ludwigshafen, in German Literature and Journalism Studies in Hamburg (2008) and in Bachelor of Communication, Majors in Business and Creative Writing at Griffith University in Australia. She published poems and prose in numerous cultural magazines in Romania and abroad. Laura Mustețiu is a member of the Romanian-Australian Academy of Culture. Her poems and stories were published in various international cultural newspapers and books, such as Confluenţe Literare, Gândacul de Colorado, Parnas XXI, Singur, Armonii Culturale, Pro Litera, Pro Diaspora, Climate Literare, Aşii Români, Logos şi Agape, Melodium, Centrul de Presa Ro, Vocea Literară, eCreator, „Vara sentimentelor”, „Coloana dragostei,” „9000 Miles Away”, „A Romanian Australian Anthology, Contemporary Poetry and Prose”, „The Wide Open Sky, Words of Power - American Anthology of Poetry”, Romanian-Australian „Antipodes Poetic Dialogue”. Her essay, 'The Secret of Writing,' was published in 2019 in the Romanian Anthology of Essays ‘Taina Scrisului’ and 'The World of Books' was published in 2020 in ‘Worlds and Words,’ a bilingual and biannual German-English literary magazine, in cooperation with PEN-Austria. Anisoara Laura sees life as a deep exploration and expression of unique and inestimable feelings, thoughts and emotions. And she has purposed to capture those human values through poetry and novels, which are reflected in themes of love, of loss and of migration. As her poems describe, life could be an adventure, a dream, an illusion, a wonderful poem or endless love. Her poems are for you, as a reader to journey into a new world, into a world of poetic imagery. She has published books of poetry and prose in Romanian and English, Travel in Time, A Life Story in Poems (2020), Yarran, Stories from Australia, (2020), A Lost Kiss on the Silk of Time (2020), Emotions and Light (2021), Fragments of a Woman's Life, A Collection of True Stories (2023), The Price of Honour, A true story (2023). Since February 2022 she has been a moderator at Radio ProDiaspora with her own radioshow Emotions and Love, a show of poetry, prose and music. She is also founder and editor-in-chief of the Sydney-based culture magazine Emotions and Light (EMOTII SI LUMINA)
