I have strange experiences, like knowing all about a man who died in the house I moved to. And feeling emotions that aren’t mine. But it took being around others with unusual experiences to grasp that I was not different. So after writing books on sexuality, and then on shame healing, I’m looking at the big picture of all of these stunning supernatural gifts, how we can claim them as real. As part of who we are. I wrote Cultivating Intuitive and Spiritual Gifts: You Are Intuitively Gifted – Discover How because I found that when asking my clients what they experience that is out of the ordinary, a large percentage of us do. As a psychologist practicing for decades I find that using my intuitive gifts helps clients. And then I discovered how helping them name and explore their own was so useful, too. When I begin a session I drop my own emotions, freeing myself to observe on all levels. Emotional, physical, breath, and anything that would interfere with grasping what my client is experiencing and needing. In this clean state I can easily see when sadness appears in me. And anger. And shame. And boredom. Since it is clearly not mine, I know what my client is feeling, or is not yet able to feel. This became a wonderful source of information of what to address in the session. So I want everyone to see that what is called supernatural is just natural. So, yes, it’s not in our three dimensional world. We don’t use our five senses for data. I am appreciating my new level of acceptance of my intuitive abilities. They are part of who I am, of my identify. Let’s change the culture. Let’s get everyone with gifts to talk about it. Then we can all feel comfortable instead of weird. Instead of odd. Instead of strange.
