It's been a long and satisfying life so far. Born in Louisiana (1946), I now live in the Pacific Northwest. Some things I really miss about my home state are the food, the music, and LSU sports. Otherwise, Washington and Montana are God's country. I have worn a hard hat and steel toed boots for much of my life. It was good work in the petro-chemical industry, and I am proud to have done it. Other stints include the army, marine biologist, and being a manager for the 2010 US Census. All this variety has kept me hopping. Jonathan's Shield is my first novel. It just shows to go you that you're never too old to start doing something you love. I'm working on two more--neither of them in this same genre-- and I will be submitting one of them very soon.
