Greetings and salutations! I’m Chris Munoz—a self-driven writer with big dreams for the next generation. My mission? To make learning “cool” and fun by bringing you stories that are pretty great to read (if I do say so myself) and have a little educational kick to them. My non-fiction children's books aim to inspire kids to take the next step towards learning and growing. I would like them to see that history is absolutely overflowing with grand, outrageous, brave, and sometimes just plain silly things that people have done. But most importantly, I want them to see that while everyone faces challenges, it’s how we respond that truly defines all of us. Because we can be kind of awesome when we put our minds to it! I’ve always been endlessly curious—some might even call it insatiable. As a kid, I was the one always asking “why”—why stars seem to pulsate in the night sky or what kind of creatures prowl the ocean floors. It’s just in my nature to ask 'odd' questions and search for answers in every nook and cranny. My love for knowledge has taken me far and wide, from tiny villages to mountaintops. When I'm not writing or researching new chapters, you’ll probably find me hiking, spending a beach day with my family, or lost in a good history book. I’m always thinking about new projects, but right now, my focus is on the Captivating Stories series.
