CHRISTOPHER WARWICK is a highly respected royal historian, writer and biographer, who is regularly asked to take part in television programmes, documentaries and radio programmes, relating to modern royal history from the reign of Queen Victoria to the present day.

Since he began his writing career, Christopher has to date published fourteen books. Among them, his authorized biography, Princess Margaret – A Life of Contrasts, which has been in print in several editions since first published in 2000, was released by Andre Deutsch in November 2017, as an updated, small-format hardback, that includes previously unavailable material sourced from declassified government papers, which throws an entirely new light on the princess's headline-making relationship with wartime fighter pilot, Group Captain Peter Townsend; one of the most explosively controversial royal issues of the day.

Her Majesty. In celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of the reign of HM Queen Elizabeth II, Taschen commissioned Christopher to act as author and consultant on its profusely illustrated, large-format, tri-lingual Art Book, Her Majesty, which was published both in standard editions and in a de luxe numbered and cased collector’s edition with Union Flag fabric cover embossed with a representation of the Star of the Order of the Garter, specially designed by Vivienne Westwood. In 2020, Taschen asked Christopher to update the narrative for a new edition of the book.
The Life and Death of ELLA Grand Duchess of Russia: first published in hardback by John Wiley & Sons as Ella Princess Saint & Martyr, Christopher’s best-selling biography of Queen Victoria’s remarkable granddaughter, Ella, otherwise Grand Duchess Elisabeth Feodorovna of Russia, who is today revered by the Russian Orthodox church as the Holy Imperial Martyr Saint Elisabeth Romanova, was subsequently published in paperback and e-book formats, as The Life and Death of ELLA Grand Duchess of Russia.

That year, George and Marina was also produced as an audio book by Tantor Media Inc.
