Born in Australia, Cristina began to write at the age of eleven after falling in love with ‘The Catcher in the Rye’. It was also at this time she was given a brochure for the National Institute of Dramatic Art and decided she would one day study acting there. After studying for her BA in communications at Griffith University QLD, Cristina trained for three years at N.I.D.A and graduated with a Diploma of Acting. After working for a time in film and TV, Cristina later chose to study singing and eventually performed and recorded her own music with various producers. Over the years Cristina has received a number of arts grants and conducted vocal training workshops both privately and also at various institutions, as well as having contributed a monthly column in Brisbane's Rave magazine discussing the potential of the singing voice, Cristina has authored two novels, Pretty Little Voices and Gorgeous Women, as well as a comedy pilot for television, currently under consideration. She is recording the audible version of Gorgeous Women soon to be released in 2024 and blogging away at her author website.
