Diane M Dickson was born in Yorkshire but grew up mostly in the Liverpool of the Beatles and Ferries Across the Mersey. Diane spent almost twenty years living and working in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Abu Dhabi, and thoroughly enjoyed it but then it was time to come home. Feet still itchy Diane and her husband bought a home in South Western France where they spend about half of the year. The rest of the time is passed in UK with their family. Diane's love of books and reading is owed in most part to her dad who was a voracious reader and took her to the library every week from a very early age and her grandmother who was never without at least three books on the go. Diane writes mostly crime novels and police procedurals which have been published by The Book Folks which is now an imprint of Joffe Books. Diane is a member of The Crime Writers Association and The Society of Authors.
