Born, raised, and once again living in the Akron, Ohio I've spent over 40 successful years in selling and in sales management. In the early years with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St Louis, Missouri selling plastics covering Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, as well as parts of Iowa and Illinois. After moving to Mobil Chemical Company I continued selling plastics in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas and Kansas eventually being promoted to a new team introducing new products in Detroit handling Michigan and Ohio. I joined MCI Telecommunications as Branch Manager of the northern tier of Ohio where I managed a large team of salespeople, supervisors and customer service leading them from last place to first place in the country in less than 3 years. I left telecommunications behind for international package service and air freight with TNT Express Worldwide as Branch Manager and then Roadway and built a completely new organization for them in Cleveland where we quickly became one of the top air freight branches in the new company. Most recently and for over 25 years I worked for Crain Communications eventually becoming Director of Sales for an international sales team traveling the world selling our trade shows and global advertising.
