Gary Simmons (1960) was born in Sydney, Australia. He grew up within the surf culture of Cronulla. His working life started amongst the rough and tumble of dockyards, mining camps and the oil industry. An opportunity to become a model led to a career change and radio school. He became a live television presenter and journalist. As a 6th Dan Taekwondo Master Instructor, he has owned a successful Martial Arts black belt school for over 20 years where he mentors young people to be confident and competent leaders. He’s married to Yoga Instructor Christine Harpley, who shares his passion for empowering people through their training programs and self help books.
