After Grace Ufuoma Anighoro’s first child was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bone Disease), she facilitated support sessions for other parents whose children have been diagnosed with a life-limiting condition or disability. Grace actively shares her caring experience with other parents and carers both within and outside of support groups. Her interaction with other parent carers is the motivation behind her second book, Raising a Glass Baby. Her message is that of hope, guidance and encouragement to other parents in their caring journey. She wants everyone caring for a child with special needs to know that they are not alone and they can still live life to the fullest. As well as being an entrepreneur and advocate of women’s and girls’ empowerment, Grace is also a student of Psychology at the University of East London. She is happily married to Odafe Anighoro, and they are blessed with two children, Ruky Star and Runor Faith.
