Greg Brooking is a high school history teacher at North Springs High School in Fulton County, Georgia. He earned his PhD at Georgia State University. His first book, From Empire to Revolution: Sir James Wright and the Price of Loyalty in Georgia, is the only biography of Georgia's most important colonial era governor. It explores the complex interplay of power in colonial and revolutionary Georgia. He is currently working on a biography of South Carolina's Henry Laurens.
