Hector La Fosse’ is first-time novelist, #1 Bestseller Award Winning Author, Actor, Co-Executive Producer and motivational speaker. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Manhattan and spent most of his adult life living in the Bronx, before moving and retiring to central Florida. He came from poverty and struggled daily to survive an upbringing mired in abuse and abandonment. As a teenager, looked in a cell with little reading comprehension, he read his first book. Reading became his only escape from his now grim reality; It served a pivotal moment in Hector’s life. It was then that Hector dreamed of becoming a writer someday. It wasn’t until forty-five years later that he would find his passion and make his dream become a reality. However; what is most important to him, is that his message helps change and save lives. Early on Hector was self educated, and as an adult went on to college. He became an international substance abuse counselor, Inventor, a businessman, community leader and a bounty hunter. While working with end-of-life AIDS patients, he wrote his first abstract in the Journal of Palliative Medicine with his colleagues. He took his first acting role as an OG Bronx Sicario in the movie "A FOOL's ERRAND," and is now in pre-production for a 6 part TV Mini Series inspired by the book No Regrets: The Journey. Riddled with anger and self-doubt, there was a time when Hector felt as if the walls were caving in on him. Times were very dark days and many bad decisions made that created massive pain, and his spirit was slowly dying within. It was such a low point in his life that he had even contemplated committing suicide.
