Inner freedom is the topic that is closest to Karin Eger’s heart. Born in 1969 in Southern Germany into an entrepreneurial family, she grew up with a father that was driven by success. The children had little choice but to integrate into the daily business. In her early twenties Karin had only one goal, to free herself and find her own path. As a marketing consultant she founded her own company, and soon the pattern of her childhood repeated itself. Family- and professional life intertwined and orbited around entrepreneurial progress. In 2013 Karin Eger emigrated to Canada with her husband and children for a fresh start. Until then she had followed her passion of writing novels only casually and late at night. But in the vast Canadian West time and space opened up. She started to fully unpack the stories she had in mind and turned them into books. “Every human being is a free individual first and foremost. This is my deepest belief. I grapple with it every day. While I write, I process frustration and the craving for change. I hope to encourage my readership to question role models and other's expectations. What are we hiding? Which part of our nature are we forgetting just to be what we were taught to be?” Karin Eger
