Hi. I’m Kris cook. I was born in a military family and lived lots of places during my childhood but Texas was always the home base since my grandparents lived just outside of San Angelo, TX in a community called Grape Creek. I’ve been an avid reader my entire life. While working at a Fortune 500 company I became friends with Shayla Black early in her writing career. She encouraged me to write a romance novel, which I did. The darn thing sold. Then I wrote another one. And another one. And so on… In 2011 I left my corporate job to pursue my love of writing. I’ve met some amazing writers and readers along the way, each inspiring me to try harder at bringing the stories of the characters that keep me up at night.
