My home is in Arlington, South Dakota, USA. I have been writing a blog for five years called 'My Mixed Blog.' My first novel was exciting. Readers have said, "they could not put my book down after they started reading it." That prompted me to have it made into an audiobook also. Many people don't have the time to sit down and read a book. Now they can enjoy this intriguing book while commuting to work, on long road trips, or just kicking back in a recliner. Dennis Baxter did an outstanding job of narrating after it was proofread and edited. I have reached the age of 79 years, after a spinal fracture at age 23. I started as a farm kid and school dropout who enlisted in the US Air Force from 1958 thru 1962. My job was to become a jet aircraft mechanic. I became the crew chief on RF-101-C 56-080. Truck driving was my civilian occupation, a lot of solo thinking time to share with the world today. I have a wife, four stepdaughters, numerous grand and great-grandchildren. It is now June 10th 2022, and thls old geezer has started writing the last chapter of his life. I don't like to dwell on the fact, I now stand at the beginning of life's checkout lane. I am starting month number five living in a nursing home. I fell and fractured a whole rack of nice ribs on my left side in December. Luckily that is the side that I'm paralyzed on. I was told I could no longer go home and live by myself. l'm getting accustomed to being with a lot of people after staying home alone for four years counting the flowers on the wallpaper. I hope to continue writing. I'm glad I didn't play marbles as a youngster that way I have a few more to lose now but I still haven't lost many. I would like to send a heartfelt thank you and best wishes to all of my readers.
