Leslie M. Szocik was born, Leslie Marion Keith, in historic Quincy, Massachusetts. Leslie married her teenage sweetheart, Lee W. Carson, and they resided for 32 years in the rural town of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, which is the starting point of The Boston Marathon every April. Lee and Leslie had a daughter, Kimberly J. Carson, who is now married with two amazing daughters, Kaylee age 12 and Kya age 8. A few years after Lee’s passing Leslie married her current husband, Daniel J. Szocik, from Sutton, Massachusetts. Leslie’s family expanded to include Daniel’s four children, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Daniel and Leslie currently reside in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of South Central Virginia. Leslie’s passions, in addition to writing, are swimming, gardening, arts & crafts, and all that can be shared with family and friends.
