Lindy Bell has a deep respect and admiration for the fire service, which is strongly reflected in her debut novel, Brotherhood By Fire, and carried throughout the ensuing Beyond the Badge series. Through her firsthand research, Lindy immerses readers in the story with a vivid, authentic writing style, deeply connecting them to the characters' lives and experiences. The next two books in the series, Brothers in Service: Through Thick and Thin, and her debut young adult novel, To Become a Brother, continues the compelling, behind-the-walls look into the fire service and its legendary brotherhood.
