Marietta V. Donovan grew up bilingual and developed a deep love for language and culture from an early age. Her academic pursuits in philology and ethnology deepened her understanding of cultural diversity. She gained valuable life and professional experiences during her many years in the USA and the United Kingdom, before eventually settling in Dietzenbach, near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Initially, Marietta worked in broadcasting in both Germany and the USA, where she was a presenter. In 2010, she reached another career milestone by founding the Peacock School of English, a private language school. There, she blends her passion for languages with her talent for teaching. As a language instructor, she shares her expertise and experiences, inspiring her students and fostering their language development. Beyond her professional endeavours, Marietta is a person with varied interests, including theatre, playing the guitar, music, reading, and hiking. Additionally, she has a keen interest in collecting Native American art.
