Mark Hunter lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife Ashley and their dog, Layla. When he's not working, he's usually watching Detroit Tigers baseball or listening to punk rock or lifting weights or playing guitar. Occasionally, he tries to write something. Mark cites among his influences Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Klosterman, Charles Bukowski, Henry Rollins, C.D. Payne, and stand-up comedians like George Carlin, Bill Hicks, and Marc Maron. He also takes inspiration from lyricists like Craig Finn, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, and Brian Fallon and public intellectuals ranging from Jordan Peterson to Sam Harris. Mark's writing is inherently personal, drawing upon his own perpetual adolescence, a penchant for self-deprecation, and an unnatural obsession with Google Maps. Mark was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 12, 1979.
