He demonstrates how to reduce stress, use authority WITHOUT coercion, and avoid counterwill—the natural human tendency to resist coercion. His LEVELS OF DEVELOPMENT is ranked #1 on a Google search and is used around the world to promote responsible behavior by using internal motivation—rather than external approaches of rewards to control or bribe, threats, and/or imposed punishments. The LEVELS OF DEVELOPMENT promotes responsible behavior by describing the differences between INTERNAL and EXTERNAL MOTIVATION. His YouTube channel, "Marvin Marshall's Stress Management Tips" shows how to implement his practices of positivity, choice, and reflection. His monthly "INSIGHTS" shares ides on a number of topics. He is a professional speaker who has presented in 44 of the United States and in 25 countries on 5 continents to organizations and companies, schools, school districts, universities, and foreign governments. He is a former educator who still has a passion to improve education as indicated by his websites, presentations, and writings. Dr. Marshall earned his Bachelor's in Language Arts and his Masters' in Business Administration at California State University, Los Angeles. His Doctorate in Education was awarded by the University of Southern California.
