Matt started his working life gutting fish and making tea on a trawler in the English Channel at age 16. Fate intervened and after witnessing the burial at sea of a colleague he fell into his first 'commission only' sales job. Since then he has gone on to grow and successfully sell 2 of his own technology companies. In 2013 he started a sales consultancy business has been writing, speaking and coaching on how to develop high performing sales teams ever since. More recently, he launched an online sales enablement platform that allows companies to consolidate knowledge, reinforce sales best practice and elevate their sales performance. When he’s off duty, Matt likes to undertake challenges that make working on a trawler look easy. When triathlon seemed a little too achievable, he switched to Ironman and also swam the English Channel with friends in 2017. In 2022 he pushed himself to his absolute limits leading a team rowing the Atlantic Ocean in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in 49 days.
