In my reality, all things are interconnected, so it is no surprise when I say that everything I do is cross-fertilized. A good healer is a storyteller. People have always communicated their knowledge through stories: Conveying insights and wisdom in the form of stories is as old as humanity itself. And there is also the imagination, which intrudes without being asked and cannot be ignored. If I have a simple way of formulating such insights, then I do so. Otherwise it can become a short story, a poem, a fable or even a novel. Sometimes there is no other way than to tell a whole story in order to highlight an essential difference that would otherwise simply not become clear. Inventing characters is easy for me because they present themselves to me and I decide whether their intensity is interesting enough for me to pursue them. They often run along in the background of my reality and comment on what is happening in their own way. And then comes the part when the character has to be convincing or believable and comprehensible. That's where the real work begins. Over the years, I've come to understand that it's not worth putting off my creativity until when the time is right. I have understood that writing is simply part of my identity. So for decades, I've had books in which I write my thoughts and ideas, a few lines or more every day. Finally, my first novel was published in 2018. My characters are usually fictional. And yet every event can become an inspiration without mutating into a retelling. I invite you to follow my characters on my blog and via my newsletter. rex-najuch()com
