Michelle L. Teichman grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where from a young age she was taught the importance of words; the ones we choose, the weight they hold, and the wonder they can create. In 2007, Michelle graduated from the Creative Writing program at York University, the most exclusive Undergraduate writing program in the country. Her professors included notable Canadian authors Richard Teleky ("The Paris Years of Rosie Kamin"), Shyam Selvadurai ("Funny Boy"), and Susan Swan ("The Wives of Bath," upon which the movie "Lost and Delirious" was based). Michelle is the author of Amazon Bestseller and Ylva Publishing's 2016 Bestseller "Rescue Me" and the 2016 Rainbow Award Honorable Mention "The Space Between." Her first novel, "The Gentleman: An Alex Lines Novel" is undergoing revisions to be re-released in late 2017, and is currently unavailable for sale. Along with the new edition of "The Gentleman: An Alex Lines Novel," Michelle is anticipated to release two new first edition novels in 2017.
