Mike Manz was born and raised on the Canadian prairies, and has been living in mainland China since 2004. He studied literature at university and has taught English as a Second Language, English Literature, and Writing for approximately 2 decades. He has a deep fondness for reading good books and for earning a living, and hopes that producing these Book Club Companion books will allow him to do at least one of those things.
