Thanks for visiting my Amazon author page! It feels like we're kindred spirits already. My debut novel TWELVE DAYS IN MAY is out this Spring - a romantic comedy set at the Cannes Film Festival, I like to think of it as high-quality popcorn. Slightly sweet, slightly salty, hopefully satisfying all the way around. I'm excited for you to read it, and hope you'll find me on Twitter or Instagram and let me know what you think. By day, I'm a film and tv lawyer - aka easily the best kind of lawyer - and in connection with my work I regularly attended many of the industry's major events and festivals. Then, all that suddenly stopped (can you imagine why?) in 2020. When it became impossible for me to travel to Cannes as usual that year, I began to write about it instead. I'm thrilled that all the time I've spent there over the years, surreptitiously listening in on other people's conversations, could now surely be termed vital literary research. Born and raised in Derry, I am currently based in Edinburgh. I have no husband, no children, no dogs, and no cats.
