Nicole Wollschlaeger, born in Pinneberg in 1974, first trained as a bookseller. She then completed her acting studies in Hamburg in 2004 and has been working as a freelance actress ever since. Engagements followed, including at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg. Until 2016, she lent her voice to the children's book series "Magic Tree House" and went on reading tours with it throughout Germany. In 2013, her debut "Schatten über Nargon" was published by Carlsen Verlag. A fantasy story for ages 10 and up, which was reissued in 2017. "ELBSCHULD" is the first volume of the quirky series, around the inspector Philip Goldberg, which appeared in 2016. In the meantime, a new case around the Kophusen investigator trio is published every year. She lives as a freelance author in Schleswig-Holstein.
