Paul La Soeur grew up in Southern England in a literary-oriented middle class home. Despite the huge volume of books available, he was not an avid reader until he stumbled across "A Man with a Maid", the famous victorian erotic novel by the eponymous "Anonymous". Some years later, and purely for his own amusement, having found so few erotic works that really delivered the goods, he started writing erotic short stories and eventually a full-length novel. Work and career then overtook writing as a priority and the body of work languished on his computer, overlooked and forgotten. At the end of 2013 he was browsing the web and became intrigued with Kindle publishing. Having clicked a link to a company specialising in producing Kindle books, he decided to submit a short story, Christa and the Blacksmith, to see how the professionals viewed a representative sample of his work. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and the publication of Christa and the Blacksmith was commissioned and it was released on the Kindle platform in January 2014 and has been enthusiastically received by readers. Paul hopes to publish further works in the near future. He still lives in Southern England and spends his spare time looking after his two elderly cats.
