I grew up reading being taught the value of the written word by my parents and my older siblings still remark to this day, how that I was drawn to books and to telling stories from the time I was a small lad. I wrote my first story while in grammar school. But my writing was put on hold for many years when I joined the U.S. Army in 1982. I was trained as a Cavalry Scout and was assigned to the 11th Armoured Cavalry Regiment where I served at OP Alpha in the Fulda Gap, along the now former East German Border. I ended my seven year stint in the Army in 1989, and wrote three, still as yet unpublished Civil War Westerns titled the Grayriders, and then with the cold realities of publishing at that time, in the 1990s, I put them away and did not write anymore until the early 2000s. I was married in 1991 and began raising two beautiful children, Joseph and Tiffany. During these years I had a profound change in my spiritual life, and after my first divorce I found great solace in Messianic Judaism, and later I was ordained as a Messianic Rabbi. It was during this time that I returned to writing and wrote the yet to be published manuscript, Torah Is Calling. I then wrote Concepts of Messiah, and completed it just before I moved from Coeur D' Alene, ID back to New Mexico, in time to spend the last three years with by mother, who passed away at age 93. During that time, I wrote my greatest work of Messianic Theology, Book of the Shining Path. I had always loved the works of Tolkien as well as the Viking Sagas, and I had traced my ancestry back to Anglo-Saxon England, and so I conceived the idea of the Visigothic Saga. This comes as a result of very much reading and a large home library. Had I not known as much as I do about european history and Germanic Mytholgy, as well as Biblical history, this work would not be possible. Four volumes are published as of this writing, four unpublished and several in the works.
