Hey, everyone. I’m presently focusing now on writing non-fiction historical works beginning with “Taking the High Road” about the 100 year history from Colorado’s Silver Boom in the 19th century up to early ski industry industry. Also, I’ve written “Stories of a Lifetime” which is a collection of 24 stories (each one a chapter) from 15 storytellers including myself. These are actual true stories from respective lives. Examples include wintering-over in Antarctica and what it does to some people, living on a small Pacific island during 1960s nuclear testing, my mother’s experience living under Nazi occupation in Norway to flying for Air America in wartime Vietnam and Laos. One story concerns the harrowing experience of being kidnapped in Afghanistan. Discussing conspiracy theories in the JFK assassination constitutes a chapter as well. However, my latest book written with co-author Deb Turnbull Devries, is “Wildflowers Never Die- the CIA and Memories of the Cold War”. It covers the first 30 years of the Cold War and took us over a year to research and write. Wildflowers will be marketed nationwide by BookTrib, a writer’s media promotion firm. We’re already beginning to get great feedback about the book. “What Almost Was- China’s Flirtation With Democracy” is the book I’m presently writing.
