Rod Lee began writing in the 9th grade. His English teacher started every class by having students write in their journals. They could write about anything. Being a serious budding writer, Rod spent the first few days writing the words "I don't know what to write about" over and over again. Then one day he got inspired to write poetry. That inspiration came from having one of the most beautiful girls in the whole school in the class. He named the title of the poem after her "Teresa Ann." Rod has always been fascinated by human behavior. Even as a child, growing up in Memphis, TN, he wondered why people walked, talked and behaved the way they did. Once becoming familiar with scriptures--especially the books of Ecclesiastes and Proverbs it was mind blowing. Such powerful insight into human behavior and the wisdom of applying principles.
