I'm S. J. Rosson, children's author and literacy specialist. I earned my Bachelor's in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in elementary education from Regis University summa cum laude. While attending Regis University, I focused on reading intervention and was awarded a Certificate in Literacy. My favorite part about writing for children is creating page-turning stories about heroic characters on heroic journeys that will keep them turning the pages. I believe our children need stories that give them a rich literacy experience where they can put themselves in the shoes of the protagonist and embark on an unforgettable adventure. I'm currently working on my next children's picture book, "Lily of the Valley." But that's a different story. When I'm not writing page-turning stories, or reading page-turning books, I'm spending time with my Bernina sewing beautiful things.
