Welcome to my Amazon Author Page! I am honored you stopped by. I'm the author of over forty books so far, most of them novels for young readers and middle readers. Almost all of them can be called "realistic fiction," but they are always funny, too - just the way real life so often is! My most recent series for Viking Children's Books are THE EMMA BOOKS: Only Emma, Super Emma, Excellent Emma, and three others, for kids 7 - 10, and THE ELLRAY JAKES BOOKS: EllRay Jakes is Not a Chicken!, EllRay Jakes is Magic!, my most recent book, EllRay Jakes the Recess King!, and five others-with the last one, EllRay Jakes Stands Tall! coming out soon. These are from Viking too, and are also for kids ages 7 - 10. EllRay's younger sister Alfie has her own series coming, too, between 2016 - 2018. This series takes place three years after the last EllRay book, making Alfie Jakes seven years old when the first book begins - and her big brother EllRay eleven years old. And tall! An interesting thing about these most recent series - THE EMMA BOOKS and THE ELLRAY JAKES BOOKS - is that all fifteen of them feature the same kids in the same third grade class! Writing the books was like dong a giant puzzle, in a way. But the stories are told from either Emma's or EllRay's point of view, of course. While I am not able to do school visits at this time, I am always available through my new website - www.sallywarnerbooks.com - and will be happy to answer your questions and read what you have to say. I love my mail! Thanks again for visiting my page, and keep reading. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sally Warner worked first as an artist and an art teacher, exhibiting her drawings all over the country.
